Las Vegas Wedding Packages
Las Vegas Wedding Chapels offer wedding packages to suit any
budget. If you do not have the
opportunity to visit the Las Vegas Wedding Chapels before making a reservation,
here are a few things to know.
Misleading
Websites
Some Las Vegas Wedding Chapels have beautiful websites to promote their
business. However, location it
everything. Use Google Maps street view to check
out the property and surrounding area.
Photography
Ask any potential wedding venue to see the work of their in-house
photographers. Some wedding chapels hire
a professional photographer for the images on their websites, but what you
receive may not be as good. Ask to see
actual photos from a real wedding.
Flowers
Something that is often looked over with an inexpensive Las Vegas
Wedding. Check with your potential
wedding venue to see what flowers are included in your wedding package. Silk or real?
Are they mine to keep?
Guest
count
Some Las Vegas Wedding Chapels are known to charge you for the number of
guests who will be attending.
Tax and
Service Fees
The Nevada state tax is currently 8.1%.
Some wedding venues will also add on a service fee. Be sure to check before making your
non-refundable deposit.
Minister
Fee
Most ministers in Las Vegas are independent contractors, so it is normal
to have their fee advertised separately to the wedding package.
Tips
Always welcome but you should never feel obligated.
Most independent wedding chapels are located in the downtown area of Las
Vegas. The one exception is the Little Church
of the West. The chapel is on the
registry of historic places and has been granted permission to be the only
wedding chapel on the Las Vegas Strip.
Sitting on one acre of manicured grounds the Little Church of the West
has been the choice for wedding couples and celebrities since 1942.
